Sports Broadcast Media needs a freelance radio presenter for a brand new project. It is so brand new, we cannot actually tell you about it yet, BUT what we can tell you is what we are looking for.

 

You will be required to present a live Saturday afternoon show from our studios near Leeds. The show will start at 2.30pm and finish at 5pm. The wage is £50 per show. The show will be broadcast online.

 

You, and a co-presenter, will talk about, and react to, all the football as the games are played, from the Premier League to League 2 and across the main leagues in Europe. You will also highlight the best bets as the football is being played.

What we are looking for:

• Interest and knowledge about sports, mainly football.

• Comfortable with betting.

• Experience of betting is an advantage, but a willingness to learn if not.

• Must be 25+

• Must be willing to work most Saturday afternoons.

• Have experience of working in a live studio.

• Be comfortable presenting a speech-based radio show.

• Be able to think quickly and react to the unpredictable nature of sport as it happens.

• Be naturally engaging.

There may also be the opportunity to voice track and pre-record links for the project. The ability to record links from home in high quality is an advantage. 

 

Broadcasting experience, while an advantage, is not essential. This role is perfect for a presenter looking for their first step into professional broadcasting. We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic, eager to learn, who can work well as a team, and is dedicated to help grow a brand new project. There is also scope to be involved and work on other Sports Broadcast Media projects.
